They are below normal by 2-­4°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi; at many places over Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya, Rayalaseema and North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh & Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Tamilnadu, south Arabian Sea and southwest & westcentral Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside south Rajasthan and Gujarat.
