♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala; at many places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Lakshadweep area and Rayalaseema; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Gangetic West Bengal, Saurashtra & Kutch, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Interior Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat region. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Jalpaiguri-16; Cooch Behar-12; Goalpara-11; Panambur, Bajpe, Dhubri and Baghdogra-9 each; Karwar and Deomali-8 each; Cannur-6; Sangli, Shirali, Arogyavaram and Majbat-5 each; Dahanu, Mormugao, Honavar, Agumbe, Vellore, North Lakhimpur, Tezpur, Silchar, Kailashahar, Gangtok and Tadong-4 each; Rajkot, Ratnagiri, Bagalkote, Panjim, Nedumbassery, Madurai, Shantiniketan, Purulia, Uluberia, Pasighat, Dibrugarh and Rangia-3 each; Vengurla, Agathi, Tirupathi, Berhampore, Burdwan, Diamond Harbour, Tangla and Imphal-2 each; Rajgarh, Pune, Colaba, Aminidivi, Kozhikode, Kovilangulam, Tiruttani, Kudimiamalai, Long Island, Krishnanagar, Panagarh, Jorhat, Chaparmukh, Guwahati and Shillong-1 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at most places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Jharkhand; at many places over Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha and Telangana; at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, North Interior Karnataka and Kerala. They are below normal by 2-4°C at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal and Rayalaseema; at isolated places over Konkan & Goa and Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country. Yesterday highest maximum temperature of 47.6°C was recorded at Allahabad(Bamrauli) Uttar Pradesh.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Tamilnadu, Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep area and eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Bihar, Jharkhand and Marathawada.
