♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha,Bihar Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, west Coast, Lakashdweep and Andaman & Nicobar; at many places over madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamilnadu; at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Marathwada, Interior Karnataka, Assam & Meghalaya and north Andhra Pradesh. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mahabaleshwar-18; Diu-12; Hirakud & Surat-10 each; Bulsar, Mumbai (SCZ) & Valparai-9 each; Rajnandgaon & Sambalpur-8 each; Bhawanipatna, Hosangabad, Okha, Dahanu, Mumbai (CLB) & Palakkad-7 each; Alibag-6; Agartala, Shajapur, Rajgarh, Durg, Nagpur & Mahuva-5 each; Gangtok, Darjeeling, Ambikapur, Indore, Bhopal, Washim & Bhavnagar-4 each; Bhagalpur, Raipur, Pendra,Koraput, Vishakhapatnam, Bundi, Ujjain, Raisen, Betul & Malanjkhand-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2-5°C at a few places over Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh; at isolated places over Uttarakhand, South Interior Karnataka, Telangana, north Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Gujarat state.They are above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Rajasthan, Konkan & Goa and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over Kerala and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of south Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Arabian Sea, north, central & east Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
