♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over west coast, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Telangana; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu and Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, East Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Nancowry-13; Bhopal-9; Cherrapunji-8; Honavar & Kochi-7 each; Cuttack-6; Dahanu, Bagati, Haldia & Shirali-5 each; Behrampore, Guna, Valsad, Tezpur, Nanded, Bijapur, Vengurla, Agathi & Madikeri-4 each; Rajkot, Raipur, Portblair, Jamshedpur, Mumbai (Colaba), Harnai, Ratnagiri, Jagdalpur, Lengpui, Indore, Malegaon, Panjim, Mormugao & Hutbay-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh. They are above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar & Odisha and at isolated places over Rajasthan, South Interior Karnataka and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over Gangetic West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Gujarat state, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep area, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
