♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, interior Karnataka and Kerala; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka and Madhya Maharashtra. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Cherrapunji-­54; Cooch Behar-­18; Dhubri-­10; Passighat & North Lakhimpur­-9 each; Hirakud­-6; Dibrugarh, Itanagar & Hassan-­5 each; Bramhapuri, Anantapur, Gadag, Mysore, Coonoor & Kochi­-4 each; Majbat, Phulbani, Sambalpur, Koraput, Durg, Salem, Kottayam & Bijapur­-3 each; Sundargarh, Tadong, Bajpe, Bangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Belgaum, Tangla, Shillong & Bhawanipatna­-2 each and Baghdogra, Jalpaiguri, Guwahati, Cuttack, Kolhapur, Titlagarh, Jharsuguda, Koppal, Chitradurga, Punalur, Nedumbassery & Long Island­-1 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at most places over Bihar; at many places over West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathawada; at a few places over Rajasthan and West Bengal & Sikkim; at isolated places over Gujarat region, Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-­4°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi; at many places over Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya, Rayalaseema and North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh & Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country. 

♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Tamilnadu, south Arabian Sea and southwest & westcentral Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside south Rajasthan and Gujarat.
