♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Madhya Pradesh and South Interior Karnataka; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal, Saurashtra & Kutch, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, North Interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema and at isolated places over Rajasthan, Bihar, Odisha, Telangana and Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Harnai­-14; Aijal, Ratnagiri & Honavar-­10 each; Itanagar & Nandigama-­9 each; Tadong, Gangtok, Dwarka & Vengurla­-8 each; Cherrapunji, Silchar, Goa & Karwar­-6 each; Alibagh, Mayabander, Vallanikara & Parbhani-­5 each; Passighat, Porbander, Mumbai (Colaba), Kochi, Portblair, Hutbay & Krishnanagar­-4 each and Kalimpong, North Lakhimpur, Nalia, Pendra, Seoni, Malegaon, Chandrapur, Adilabad, Bajpe, Jagdalpur, Koraput, Machilipatanam, Bapatla, Long Islands, Car Nicobar & Nancowry­-3 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­-3°C at most places over Punjab & Uttarakhand; at many places over West Uttar Pradesh; at a few places over Bihar and at isolated places over Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states & Odisha. They are below normal by 2-­3°C at many places over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Konkan & Goa; at a few places over Saurashtra & Kutch and Telangana and at isolated places over Karnataka, Rayalaseema & Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 42.7°C was recorded at Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh). 

♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Sub­ Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Assam & Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Coastal & North Interior Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, Kerala, Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep area, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi.
