Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Konkan & Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal 
& Sikkim and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Odisha, Gujarat, Marathawada and south interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and north interior Karnataka. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Karwar-15; Mangalore(Bajpe)-14; Panambur-12; Goa (Panjim) and Shirali-10 each; 
Agumbe and Cannur-8 each; Keonjhargarh and Harnai-7 each; Kolkata(dum-dum) and Honavar-5 each; Gangtok, Imphal, Alibagh and Kozhikode-4 each and Katra, Dehradun, Burdwan, Baripada, Darjeeling, Bulsar, Mumbai (SCZ), Mahabaleshwar, Madikeri and Karipur-3 each. 
 
Temperatures: Yesterday's heat wave to severe heat wave conditions were prevailed at many places of north coastal Andhra Pradesh and at a few places over north coastal Odisha and at isolated places over Jharkhand and West Bengal. Maximum temperature of 44°C and more were recorded at: Churu-44.3; Bikaner and Orai-44.0. 
 
Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and coastal Andhra Pradesh; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir and interior Maharashtra. They are below normal by 2-4°C at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh and south interior Karnataka and near 
normal over rest parts of the country. 
 
Kalpana-1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Uttarakhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, south Odisha, east & central Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and east Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, north Rajasthan and Saurashtra & Kutch.

♦ Temperature: Heat wave to severe heat wave condition were prevailed at many places over Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha and at isolated places over Chhattisgarh and rest Madhya Pradesh.Maximum temperatures were above normal by 4-6°C at many places over Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya 
Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha; at a few places over Jharkhand and Madhya Maharashtra; at isolated places over western Himalayan region and near normal over rest parts of the country. Maximum temperatures of 47.0°C and more recorded at:
Churu-48.3, Ganganagar-48.0, Delhi(Palam) and Satna-47.6, Chandrapur-47.3, Hissar, Nowgong and Khajuraho-47.0 each.

Kalpana-1: Cloud imagery of 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, coastal Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, central & south Arabian sea, northeast, eastcentral 
& south Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh and west Rajasthan.

The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Agathi-4, Jalpaiguri, Kochi, Punalur, Jharsuguda, Carnicobar and Maya Bandar-2 each and Kottayam, Thiruvanathapuram, Kailashahar, Majbat, Minicoy and Hutbay-1each.

Temperatures: Yesterday, severe heat wave conditions prevailed over some parts of northeast Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, west Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha and at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra and coastal Andhra Pradesh and heat wave conditions also prevailed over some parts of 
Punjab, rest Rajasthan, Haryana & Delhi and west Madhya Pradesh. Maximum temperature of 47.0°C or more recorded at: Ganganagar-48.6; Nowgong-47.9; Delhi (Palam)-47.8; Churu & Damoh-47.6; Banda-47.4; Nagpur-47.3; Wardha & Hamirpur-47.2 each; Gondia-47.1 and Bramhapuri, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Jaipur and Bikaner-47.0 
each. Maximum temperatures were above normal by 4-6°C at many places over Punjab, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Marathwada and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and coastal Andhra Pradesh and by 2-3°C at a few places over 
Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, northeastern States. They were below normal by 2-3°C at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and and near normal over rest parts of the country.

Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of   today are:   Dharamshala­6, Shimla­5; Pantnagar, Vishakhapatnam and Chandbali­3 each; Sundernagar, Cherapunji, Kolkata and Kailashahar­2 each; Bhuntar, Kupwara, Manali, Una, Pilani, Udaipur, Raipur, Diamond Harbour, Gopalpur, Madurai and Agathi­1 each.   

♦   Temperatures: Yesterday, heatwave conditions were prevailed at a few places over Vidarbha and at isolated places over Telangana. Maximum temperature of 45.0°C or more was recorded at: Chandrapur and Rentachintala­45.2 each and Wardha­45.1.Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­4°C at a few places over south Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Tamilnadu and at isolated places over interior  Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka and Kerala. They are below normal by 2­5°C at many  places over Himachal Pradesh, Odisha; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh and north Rajasthan and near normal over rest parts of the country.
