♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Uttarakhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern state, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, west coast and interior Karnataka; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Madhya Pradesh and Marathwada; at a few places over Saurashtra & Kutch and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat region, East Madhya Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The amounts of rainfall (3cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mahabaleshwar­-37; Harnai-­16; Haldia-­14; Nagpur, Dahanu & Raipur-­11 each; Mana & Satara­-10 each; Mumbai (Santacruz) & Rajnandgaon-­9 each; Delhi(Ridge) & North Lakhimpur-­8 each; Indore, Mumbai (Colaba), Chandrapur & Palakkad-­7 each; Pune, Bilaspur & Uluberia­-6 each; Ratnagiri, Wardha, Hirakud, Sambalpur, Barapani, Tadong & Titlagarh­-5 each; Nasik, Durg, Amroati, Seoni, Gangtok, Lengpui, Malanjkhand, Yeotmal, Kolhapur, Bramhapuri, Hoshangabad & Veraval-­4 each and Kolkata(Alipur), Midnapur, Cherrapunji, Digha, Canning, Surat, Khandwa & Betul­-3 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­-3°C at many places over East Uttar Pradesh; at a few places over East Madhya Pradesh & Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over East Rajasthan, Assam & Meghalaya, Kerala and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2­-4°C at a few places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha & Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat & Odisha and near normal over rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 43.6 °C has been recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan). 

♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Arabian Sea, north & central Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea and some parts of Uttarakhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat state, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Konkan & Goa, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, northeastern states, Tamilnadu & Pudducherry and Lakshadweep area Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
