Fog: Dense/very dense fog has been observed at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand in early morning hours. 

RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers occurred at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (1cm and more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Seoni, Wardha, Ambikapur and Daltonganj -1 each.

Temperatures: Yesterday,maximum temperatures were below normal by 6-10°C at a few places over Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places over Bihar and Jharkhand; by 2-5°C at many places over Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh; at a few places over West Bengal, rest Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places over Odisha, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Saurashtra and near normal over rest of the country.

Kalpana-1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region, central India, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, northeastern states, Gujarat, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu.

♦   RAINFALL: Rain/snow  occurred at many places over  Jammu & Kashmir; at most places over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.  Rain/thundershowers  occurred at many places over Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal & Sikkim; at a few places over Punjab, Chhattisgarh & Jharkhand and at isolated places over 
Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan & Goa and interior Maharashtra. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm   or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Bahraich, Balurghat­ 2 each, Kalpa, Manali, Bhuntar, Solan, Ludhiana, Kalpa, Bhuntar, Batote, Manali,Pendra, Mumbai(Colaba), Malda, Bhagalpur, Daltanganj­ 1 each.

♦   Temperatures: Maximum temperatures are below normal by 5­10°C at many places over Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, west Bengal, northeastern state & west Madhya Pradesh and at a few places over Punjab & east Rajasthan; by 2­4°C at   a   many   places   over   east   Madhya   Pradesh,   north   Chhattisgarh,   Gujarat,   Maharashtra,   interior   Andhra   Pradesh   and 
Karnataka.They are above normal by 2°C at a few places over interior Odisha and near normal over rest of the country.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds some parts of western Himalayan region.  Low/medium clouds are seen over rest western Himalayan region and over some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim,   Gujarat, northeastern states and peninsular India.

♦   RAINFALL: Light rain/snow occurred at isolated places over   Jammu   &   Kashmir   and   Himachal   Pradesh.   Light   rain/thundershowers   occurred   at   isolated   places   over Arunachal Pradesh. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country.

♦   Temperatures:  The maximum temperatures were below normal by 2­5°C at many places over northwest  India and at a few places over Gujarat states, Madhya Pradesh and isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh and interior Maharashtra. They were above normal by 2­4°C at a few places over interior Odisha and Jharkhand and  isolated places over west Assam,  north Chhattisgarh and Tamilnadu and near normal over rest parts of the country.

♦   Temperatures:  Maximum temperatures are below normal by 2­4°C at many places over Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat region and west Madhya Pradesh; at a few places over Punjab, Haryana & Delhi, east Uttar Pradesh and Konkan and at isolated places over Jammu division, Saurashtra, east Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. They are above normal by 2­5°C at many places over Chhattisgarh, west Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh and rest northeastern states; at a few places over Vidarbha, 
interior Karnataka, Tamilnadu and rest east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country.

♦   Temperatures: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 4­6°C at many places over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal; by 2­4°C at a few places over Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, east Assam and  Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and at isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh.  They are above normal by 4­6°C at a few places over west Rajasthan; by 2­3°C at many places over Western Himalayan Region, Punjab, east Rajasthan and at isolated places over northwest Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim and along west coast and near normal over rest of the county.

♦  Kalpana­1: Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows  convective clouds are seen at many parts of  Western Himalayan Region and some parts of north Punjab, north Haryana and west Rajasthan.   Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of   east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar,  east Madhya Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu.
