♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Gujarat region and Konkan & Goa; at many places over West Rajasthan, Saurashtra & Kutch and Lakshadweep; at a few places over, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Kerala; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Cherrapunji-13, Baghdogra-9, Ambikapur & Jaisalmer-7 each; Ganganagar & Darjeeling-6 each; Amritsar, Gwalior, Gandhinagar, Malda, Mount Abu & Gaya-5 each; Diu, Jalpaiguri, Kailashahar & Purnea-4 each and Gulmarg, Dibrugarh, Phalodi, Jhansi, Satna, Mahuva, Dahanu, Surat, Bulsar, Daltonganj, Cooch-Bihar, Silchar, Passighat, Goalpara, Bhagalpur, Qazigund & Kalingapatam-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at most places over Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, East Rajasthan & Tamilnadu; at a few places over Punjab & Saurashtra & Kutch and at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya, West Madhya Pradesh & Coastal Andhra Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-4°C at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka, Saurashtra & Kutch and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and some parts of Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Vidarbha, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
