♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over northeastern states, Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, Vidarbha, Marathawada, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Gangetic West Bengal, Telangana, Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Tamilnadu. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Cherrapunji-­25; Bulsar-­13; Haflong­-11; Sundernagar, Waltair, Vishakhapatnam & Agumbe­-9 each; Nanded & Agartala­-8 each; Surat, Dahanu & Aminidivi­-7 each, Cherapunji & Aminidivi­-7 each; Gangtok, Deomali, Harnai, Agathi & Goa-­6 each; Malda, Majbat, Lumding, North Lakhimpur, Baroda, Ratnagiri, Pachmarhi, Narsinghpur and Karwar­-5 each; Goalpara, Purulia, Amraoti & Mangaluru-­4 each; Passighat, Itanagar, Amreli, Bhaunagar, Hyderabad, Karipur, Honavar & Udaipur­-3 each and Silchar, Dibrugarh, Panagarh, Krishnanagar, Damoh, Purnea, Kohima, Bagati, Buldana, Washim, Minicoy, Cannur, Chandrapur, Vengurla, Mormugao, Hanamkonda & Bramhapuri-­2 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­-3°C at most places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi; at many places over Rajasthan; at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir. They are below normal by 2-­4°C at most places over Vidarbha, Konkan & Goa, West Madhya Pradesh and Telangana; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat region; at a few places over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Assam & Meghalaya and at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal and near normal over rest of the country. Yesterday the highest maximum temperature of 43.3°C was recorded at Fatehgarh (Uttar Pradesh). 

♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat, north Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, Bay of Bengal and south Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
