Yesterdays maximum temperatures were above normal by 25° C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya, Manipur Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Karnataka and South Tamilnadu. They were below normal by 23° C over some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and at one or two places of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and coastal Andhra Pradesh.They are near normal over rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 41.5°C was recorded at Titlagarh (Odisha) in the country.
 
RAINFALL (From 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of yesterday): Light rain/thundershowers occurred at one or two places over Assam and Sikkim. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country.
 
CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir and south Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of western Himalayan region, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, north eastern states and south peninsular India.

Maximum temperatures were above normal by 24° C over some parts of Uttrakhand, northeastern States, Odisha, Vidarbha, Marathawada, Interior Karnataka and south coastal Tamilnadu. They were below normal by 25° C over many parts of Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh and some parts of Haryana, north Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand and near normal over rest parts of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 41.5°C was recorded at Titlagarh (Odisha) in plains of the country.
 
RAINFALL (From 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of yesterday): Light Rain/thundershowers occurred at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, west Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Sikkim. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country. The amount of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Jaisalmer2, Gangtok and Batote 1 each.

Minimum temperatures are above normal by 45° C over some parts of south Chhattisgarh and by 23° C over many parts of rest central India and some parts of Jammu division of Jammu & Kashmir, north interior Karnataka and Telangana. They are near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 13.4°C has been recorded at Delhi (Ayanagar) in plains of the country.
 
RAINFALL (From 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today): Rain/thundershowers has occurred at a few places over east Madhya Pradesh and Kerala and at one or two places over Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh Sikkim and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country. The amount of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Punalur3, Palakad and Nedumbassary2 each and Gangtok and Jaisalmer1 each. They were near normal over rest parts of the country. The highest maximum  temperature  of  40.8°C  recorded  at  Rentachintala  and Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) in the country.
 
♦   RAINFALL  :Rain/thundershowers occurred at many places over  Kerala  and  at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and Sikkim. Weather  remained mainly dry over rest parts of the  country. The chief amount of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Punalur­4; Valparai­2 and Tadong­1.
 
CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of  Assam, Manipur, Gujarat, south Bay of Bengal and Comorin area. Low/medium clouds are   seen   over   some   parts   of   western   Himalayan   region,   Rajasthan,   Madhya   Pradesh, Maharashtra,  Chhattisgarh, northeastern states, extreme south peninsular India and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

They are above normal by 24° C over parts of western Himalayan region and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 8.6°C has been recorded at Muzafarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) and Narnaul (Haryana) in plains of the country.

RAINFALL: Rainfall has occurred at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country.
