at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam & Meghalaya, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Weather remained mainly dry /dry over rest parts of the  country.   The  chief  amounts  of  rainfall  (2  cm  or more)  recorded  at  1730  hours IST  of  yesterday were: Mahabaleshwar,   Midnapore   and   Pantnagar­5   each;   Canning­4;   Narsapur,   Karwar,   Delhi(SFD)   and   Malda­3 each;   Bankura, Basirhat, Panagarh, Long Island, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Sultanpur, Jagdalpur, Goa, and Palakkad­2
each. 

TEMPERATURES: Maximum temperatures were below normal by 5­8°C over some parts of Rajasthan; by 2­4°C over some parts of rest Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim and some parts of Haryana, east Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Bihar, Odisha and northeastern states. They were
above normal by 2­3°C  over some  parts of western Himalayan region and  extreme south peninsular India and near normal over rest parts of the country. 

♦   Kalpana­1:  Cloud  imagery   at  0530  hours  IST  shows  convective  clouds  over  some  parts  of   southeast Rajasthan,  south Chhattisgarh,  south  Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Tripura,  north &  adjoining central Bay of Bengal and north Andaman sea. TEMPERATURES: Maximum temperatures were below normal by 2­10°C at many places over Gujarat and west Rajasthan. They were above normal by 2­4°C   at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Kerala, Tamilnadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over eastern and northeastern states and nearly normal over remaining parts of the country.
