Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over west coast, Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Assam & Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, south Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, North Interior Karnataka and Lakashdweep; at a few places over Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Marathwada and Tamilnadu and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and north Madhya Pradesh. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mumbai (Santacruz)­-28; Mumbai (Colaba)-­21; Alibag-­19; Mormugoa­-15; Ratnagiri-­13; Goa-10; North Lakhimpur, Vengurla & Karwar-­9 each; Harnai-­8; Chandrapur & Gannavaram­-7; Bagdogra, Aurangabad, Mahabaleshwar, Honavar, Nandigama & Car Nicobar Islands-­6 each; Mount Abu, Amroati, Nagpur, Bajpe & Kochi­-5 each; Baroda, Shirali, Panambur, Palakkad, Valparai & Vishakhapatnam-­4 each and Passighat, Coochbehar, Lengpui, Baripada, Rajgarh, Indore, Dhar, Yeotmal. Medikari, Cannur, Tuni, Kakinada, Narsapur. Machilipatnam & Portblair­-3 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh and at a few places over Bihar. They are below normal by 2­-4°C at many places over West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema and at a few places over Chhattisgarh and near normal over rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 44.3°C was recorded at Churu (Rajasthan). 

Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, northeastern states, Madhya Pradesh, south Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Peninsular India, Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep area, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, Haryana Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh
