♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep area; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Saurashtra & Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra,Marathawada, Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at a few places over Vidarbha and Rayalaseema; at isolated places over Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Gujarat region, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Cherrapunji-­40; Jalpaiguri­-10; Dhubri and North Lakhimpur­-7; Dibrugarh-­6; Okha, Kurnool, Machilipatinam, Karipur, Karwar and Itanagar­-5 each; Honawar, Cooch Behar, Majbat and Halflong­-4 each; Pachmarhi, Udgir, Vengurla, Mangalore, Anantapur, Goalpara and Tezpur-­3 each; Kokarnag, New Kandla, Malegaon, Harnai, Waltair, Madurai, Baghdogra, Rangia, Guwahati, Jorhat and Tangla-­2 each; Gulmarg, Wardha, Nasik, Parbhani, Belgaum, Mahabaleshwar, Vishakhapatinam, Aminidivi, Kozhikode, Gangtok, Deomali, Golaghat and Silchar­-1 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­-4°C at most places over Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal; at many places over north Madhya Pradesh; at a few places over Gujarat state and Odisha; at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim.They are below normal by 2-­5°C at many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at a few places over Maharashtra state and Rayalaseema; at isolated places over Saurashtra & Kutch and Assam & Meghalaya and near normal over rest of the country. Yesterday highest maximum temperature of 47.8°C was recorded at Banda (Uttar Pradesh). 

♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of northeastern states, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep area, northeast & southeast Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
