♦ TEMPERATURE: Yesterday,maximum temperatures   were  above  normal  by  5­8°C  over many parts of northeastern states, sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim; at isolated pockets of east   Uttar   Pradesh   and   east   Madhya   Pradesh;   by   2­4°C   over   Delhi,   Uttarakhand,   Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh,  Jharkhand, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha,Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Tamilnadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. They  were  below  normal  by  5­7°C  over  Jammu  & Kashmir  and  some  parts  of  Himachal Pradesh; by 2­4°C over parts of west Rajasthan, Gujarat state and Konkan and near normal over rest parts of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 37.2°C was recorded at Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh)  in the country.
♦ RAINFALL : Rain/snow occurred at most   places   over   Jammu   &   Kashmir;   at   many   places   over   Himachal   Pradesh.   Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country. The amount of rainfall(1 cm or more) recorded at: Srinagar,  Qazigund, Kupwara,  Bhaderwah and  Sundernagar­1 each.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over most parts of Jammu & Kashmir, south Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest Assam & Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

TEMPERATURE: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 24° C over many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, northeast Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and west Assam. They are below normal by 23° C over some parts of Jharkhand, Odisha, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Kerala and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 7.6°C has been recorded at Adampur (Punjab) in plains of the country.

RAINFALL
(From 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today) Rain/snow has occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir; at many places over Himachal Pradesh. Light rainfall has occur at one or two places over Punjab, Haryana and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country. The amount of rainfall(1 cm or more) recorded at: Batote5, Qazigund, Banihal and Bhaderwah4 each, Kupwara and Pahalgaon3 each, Kukarnag, Katra, Srinagar2, Sundernagar, Jammu, Patiala, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Gulmarg1 each.
CLOUDS:
Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over most parts of Jammu & Kashmir and some parts of Himachal Pradesh and southeast Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of western Himalayan region and some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh.
 
The western disturbance as an upper air system over north Pakistan and adjoining Jammu & Kashmir persists. An induced cyclonic circulation over west Rajasthan and neighbourhood also persists.
 
The trough of low over over southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood persists.

TEMPERATURE: Minimum temperatures are below normal by 23° C over some parts of Madhya Pradesh, coastal Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Konkan.. They are above normal by 23C° over some parts of northeastern states, SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and near normal over rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 7.0°C and 7.5°C has been recorded at Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) and Narnaul ( Haryana) respectively in the northern plains of the country.

RAINFALL
:Rainfall has occurred at a few places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at one or two places over east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Sikkim. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country.
CLOUDS:
Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of north Jammu & Kashmir, southeast Bay of Bengal and south Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
The western disturbance as an upper air system lies over Afghanistan and adjoining north Pakistan.
The trough of low over south Andaman sea and neighbourhood persists.

The lowest minimum temperature of 6.0°C has been recorded at Satana (Madhya Pradesh) in the plains of country.

RAINFALL:
Weather remained mainly dry over the country.
CLOUDS:
Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Jammu & Kashmir and some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and south Bay of Bengal . TEMPERATURE: Minimum temperatures rose by 23° C over many parts of central and north peninsular India. They fell by 12° C over some parts of extreme peninsular India and isolated pockets of northwest India and northeastern states. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.6°C has been recorded at Adampur (Punjab) in the plains of country.
RAINFALL : Rainfall occurred at a few places over Tamilnadu and Kerala and at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The significant amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Kottayam, Palayankottai and Nancowry1
each.
CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows low/medium clouds over some parts of western Himalayan region, west Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh,

The western disturbance would affect Western Himalayan region and adjoining plains of northwest India from tomorrow onwards.
