♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Uttarakhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Andaman & Nicobar islands, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and Interior Karnataka; at a few places over East Rajasthan, Marathawada, Vidarbha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places over West Rajasthan and Telangana. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Pantnagar-13; Mukteshwar-12; Bareilly-9; Moradabad, Cannur and Valparai-7 each; Tehri and Krishnanagar-6 each; Malda, Long Islands, Berhampore and Nedumbassery-5 each; Mount Abu, Behraich, Palakkad, Karipur & Bajpe-4 each; Kozhikode, Punalur, Kottayam, Purnea, Guna, Mahabaleshwar, Gwalior, Daltonganj, Alipore, Kota, Coochbehar & Kochi-3 each and Bagati, Aligarh, Thiruvananthapuram, Karwar, Panambur, Fursatganj, Lumding, Rangia, Tangla, Dhubri, Cherrapunji, Jalpaiguri & Bhira-2 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2-5°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh; at a few places over Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh; at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal & South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, southeast Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
