TEMPERATURE: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 46° C over many part of east & northeast India and Telangana and 23° C over some parts of peninsular India. They are below normal by 24° C over some parts of Jammu division of Jammu & Kashmir, west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and coastal Andhra Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 3.8°C has been recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) in plains of the country.♦
RAINFALL : Rainfall has occurred at one or two places over Vidarbha, north interior Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Telangana and very light rainfall over east Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha. Weather mainly dry over rest of the country. The significant amounts of rainfall recorded (in cm) at 0830 hours IST of today are: Gulbarga3, Washim, Mahabubnagar and Periculam2 each and Champa and Idukki1 each.♦
CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of south Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states, Vidarbha and Andhra Pradesh.
