♦ TEMPERATURE: Minimum temperatures rose by 23° C over many parts of central and north peninsular India. They fell by 12° C over some parts of extreme peninsular India and isolated pockets of northwest India and northeastern states. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.6°C has been recorded at Adampur (Punjab) in the plains of country.
♦ RAINFALL : Rainfall occurred at a few places over Tamilnadu and Kerala and at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The significant amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Kottayam, Palayankottai and Nancowry1
each.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows low/medium clouds over some parts of western Himalayan region, west Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh,
Tamilnadu and Kerala.

♦ The trough of low over southeast Arabian sea persists.
♦ The upper air cyclonic circulation over Assam & Meghalaya between 1.5 km and 2.1 km above mean sea level persists.
