TEMPERATURE: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­4°C over many parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, north Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh,  Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and south Peninsular India and they are near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.5°C has been recorded at Balia ( Uttar Pradesh) in plains of the country.

RAINFALL: Rain/snowfall has occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rainfall/thundershowers has  occurred at most  places  over Punjab,  Haryana,  Delhi,  Uttar  Pradesh,  Rajasthan, West  Madhya Pradesh  and Bihar. Rainfall/thundershowers has   occurred at many places over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, at a few places over Chhattishgarh, Marathawada and Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places over Gujarat, rest Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and West Bengal & Sikkim. The significant amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 0830  hours IST  of today  are:  Najibabad­5, Tikamgarh­4, Manali,  New  Delhi  (SFD), Tehri, Khajuraho,Guna, Rajgarh,   Jhansi,   Ramagundam,   Yeotmal   and   Vengurla­3   each,   Pahalgam,   Batote,   Baderwah,   Dehradun, Moradabad, Narnaul, Meerut, Banswara, Patna, Sidhi, Rewa, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar­2 each. 

CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of western Himalayan region; over some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan, southeast Arabian sea, south Andaman Sea and south Bay of Bengal.   Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country outside Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram.
