TEMPERATURES: Yesterday's maximum temperatures were above normal by 35° C over many parts of western Himalayan region, Punjab, Rajasthan, north eastern state and some parts of Delhi, east Uttar Pradesh, interior Odisha and West coast. They were near normal over rest parts of the country. The Highest maximum temperature of 40.0°C recorded at Bhira (Maharashtra) in the country.

RAINFALL:  Very light rain occurred at one or two places over SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Assam and Chhattisgarh. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country.
CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland and Tripura. Low/medium clouds are seen over some parts of western Himalayan region, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, rest northeastern states and peninsular India.
