♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over Madhya Maharashtra, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar; at a few places over Konkan & Goa and Telangana; at isolated places over East Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu, Bihar and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Mahabaleshwar-7; Gulbarga-6; Osmanabad-5; Hyderabad-4; Jeur, Nasik, Ratnagiri & Tuni-3 each; Sholapur, Wardha, Sangli & Kolhapur-2 each and Yeotmal, Portblair, Udgir, Goa, Vengurla & Honavar-1 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at most places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Odisha; at many places over Punjab, Bihar, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and northeastern states; at a few over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamilnadu and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir. They are below normal by 2-4°C at a few places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka & Kerala and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds at most places over Konkan & Goa and Madhya Maharashtra and over some parts of Marathwada, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Pudducherry, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, south Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country outside Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi.
