♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over Assam & Meghalaya and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, North Interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema; at isolated places over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Konkan & Goa, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu & Lakshadweep. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Long Islands-4; Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati & Puri-3 each; Portblair, Shillong, Agartala, Jagdalpur, Mayabander & Hyderabad-2 each; Hutbay, Nasik & Kanyakumari-1 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-5°C at most places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand and Vidarbha; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Marathawada and Telangana; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Odisha, Kerala; at isolated places over Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2-5°C at a few places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Rayalaseema and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds at some parts of Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Telangana, Comorin area, eastcentral & south Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country outside Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi.
