Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Arunachal Pradesh, Marathawada and Tamilnadu & Pudducherry; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and Chhattisgarh; at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Konkan & Goa. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Cannur­-11; Kozhikode & Bramhapuri-­9; Madikeri-­7; Parbhani & Nancowry-­5 each; Golaghat, Amraoti, Honavar, Bangaluru & Karipur-­4 each; North Lakhimpur, Itanagar, Nagpur, Ahmadnagar, Wardha, Akola, Vijaywada, Shirali, Aminidivi, Kochi, Kottayam, Valprai & Alapuzha­-3 each and Mukteshwar, Pet Jorhat, Malanjkhand, Betul, Sholapur, Belgaum, Vellore, Tiruttani, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram & Tondi­-2 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-­3°C at a few places over West Bengal & Sikkim, East Rajasthan and Odisha; at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, South Interior Karnataka and Tamilnadu & Pudducherry. They are below normal by 2­-4°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh; at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh and Kerala and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Konkan & Goa, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, Kerala, south & central Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
