Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Lakashdweep; at many places over Kerala; at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, North Interior Karnataka and Tamilnadu and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Assam & Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat region, Marathwada, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Odisha,Telangana, South Interior Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Osmanabad­-4; Nancowry, Kottayam, Nagpur & Wardha­-3 each; Mukteshwar, Tondi, Aminidivi, Palakkad, Valprai & Sholapur­-2 each and Mukteshwar, Punalur, Coonoor, Betul, Yeotmal & Itanagar­-1 each. 

♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2­-4°C at most places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Maharashtra and Telengana; at many places over Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Odisha; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi. They are below normal by 2­-3°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at isolated places over Kerala and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Pudducherry, Kerala, south & central Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country outsides Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi.
