♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Chhattisgarh; at many places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Konkan & Goa and Andaman & Nicobar Islands ; at a few places over Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal & North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep and at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Vidarbha. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are:Titlagarh-5; Jagdalpur, Passighat, Agra and Narsapur-3 each; Raipur, Ratnagiri, Long Islands, Keonjhargarh and Machilipatnam-2 each and Guna, Khajuraho, Harnai, Nagpur, Hoshangabad, Canning, North Lakhimpur, Cherrapunji and Hissar-1 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-5°C at most places over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, East Rajasthan, Gujarat region and Kerala; at many places over Punjab, East Madhya Pradesh and Bihar; at a few places over Saurashtra & Kutch, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu and North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over West Rajasthan and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-5°C at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over Chhattisgarh and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, northeastern states, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, Comorin area, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
