Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, North Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Vidarbha, Telangana, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Nagpur & Honavar-­4 each; Guwahati & Shillong­-3 each; Tuni & Gadag­-2 each and Jalpaiguri, Paradip, Chandbali, Kolkata, Purulia, Mumbai ( Colaba)-­1 each. 

♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-­5°C at most places over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand;, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Gujarat and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Kerala and at isolated places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Odisha They are below normal by 2-3°C at many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, eastcentral Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country outside Punjab and West Rajasthan.
