♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Coastal Karnataka; at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Konkan & Goa and North Interior Karnataka; at a few places over Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala; at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana & Chandigarh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Rayalaseema and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are; Koraput-11; Agumbe-6; Bhagalpur-5; Puri, Akola, Ratnagiri, Mahabaleshwar, Karwar & Kalingapatinam-4 each: Gopalpur, Titlagarh & Goa(Panjim)-3 each and Chandigarh, Keonjhargarh, Jagdalpur, Cuttack, Bhawanipatna, Pune, Honavar & Mangaluru(Bajpe)-2 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-5°C at most places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Vidarbha and Kerala; at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-5°C at many places over Odisha and Coastal Karnataka; at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, northeastern states, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, east Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
