♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Chhattisgarh and at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Odisha, Tamilnadu and Lakshadweep. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Una-9; Portblair-8; Dehradun-7; Silchar-6; Agumbe & Madikeri-5 each; Pantnagar, Shivpuri, Mahabaleshwar, Itanagar, Haflong, Aijal & Mayabandar-4 each and Hissar, Datia, Bhira & Panambur-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places over Uttarakhand, northwest Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2-4°C at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and Vidarbha and at isolated places over Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh and north Odisha and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds are seen over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and south & east Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
