♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over west coast and North Interior Karnataka; at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Tamilnadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Pilani & Jalpaiguri-5 each; Bhawanipatna, Baghdogra, Honavar & Karwar-4 each; Karipur & Jagdalpur-3 each; Guna, Agartala, Ramagundam, Panambur, Thrissur & Valparai-2 each and Shimla, Sundernagar, Chandigarh, Sheopur, Agra, Patna, Ratnagiri, Cherrapunji, Midnapore, Cooch Behar, Jabalpur, Sagar, Alibag, Bilaspur, Nizamabad, Kozhikude & Alapuzha-1 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at most places over East Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Rayalaseema; at many places over West Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu; at a few places over West Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Rajasthan, northeastern states, Gujarat, South Interior Karnataka & Kerala and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds are seen over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Interior Karnataka, West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
