♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala; at many places over Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Konkan & Goa; at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, West Madhya Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, West Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Weather remain dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Tikamgarh & Pendra road-5 each; Digha, Sundergarh & Pachmarhi-4 each; Canning, Wardha, Umaria, Khajuraho, Agumbe & Long Islands-3 each and Shimla, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Jharsuguda, Diamond Harbour, Narsingpur, Damoh, Pallakad & Shirali-2 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at most places over West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Rayalaseema and North Interior Karnataka; at many places over Himachal Pradesh and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya, Kerala and Tamilnadu; at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. They are below normal by 2-4°C at many places over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha; at isolated places over Rajasthan and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds are seen over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Coastal & South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and southeast Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
