Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Gangetic West Bengal, Karnataka and Konkan & Goa; at many places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh; at a few places over East Uttar Pradesh, northeastern states and Madhya Maharashtra and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region, Marathawada, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu & Puducherry. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Contai­-15; Daltonganj-­5; Mahabaleshwar, Ratnagiri and Midnapore­-4 each; Diamond Harbour & Shillong-­3 each; Ambikapur, Kolkata, Gaya, Kailashahar, Bankura, Honavar, Mangalore, Karwar & Agumbe-­2 each; Alibag, Ranchi, Agartala, Haldia, Berhampore, Cherrapunji, Imphal, Uluberia, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Sheopur, Sitapur, Nancowry & Ganganagar­-1 each. 

♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-­5°C at most places over Telangana, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala & Marathwada; at many places over Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh and Konkan & Goa; at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Madhya Pradesh south Gujarat state and Assam & Meghalaya. They are below normal by 5-­8°C at a few places over West Rajasthan and at isolated places over East Rajasthan; 2-­4°C at a few places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and Jharkhand and at isolated places over rest West Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal & Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and East Uttar Pradesh; at some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Andhra Pradesh,Telangana, Karnataka, Konkan & Goa, Kerala, east central Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
