♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and East Madhya Pradesh; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal, Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Rayalaseema; at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mayabandar-10; Aijal & Titlagarh-9 each; Patna & Titlagarh-6 each; Lumding & Kailashahar-8 each; Patna & Panambur-6 each; Bareilly, Sultanpur, Gaya, North Lakhimpur, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Lengpui, Sambalpur, Bhawanipatna, Koraput & Kalingapatnam-5 each and Bahraich, Gangtok, Itanagar, Sundargarh, Jagdalpur, Pachmarhi, Long Islands & Portblair-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh and Telangana and at isolated places over Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat, Vidarbha, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2-3°C at isolated places Himachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over Many parts over odisha & Coastal Andra Pradesh;some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu, Interior Karnataka, south Arabian sea, Comorin area, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
