♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar; at a few places over Uttarakhand, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep and at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, North Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Rayalaseema. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mayabander-11; Bhira & Long Islands-9 each; Portblair-8; Kohima & Balasore-7 each; Bhubaneshwar & Harnai-6 each; Itanagar, Contai & Mahabaleshwar-5 each; Puri, Kalingapatinam, Puri & Ratnagiri-4 each; Gangtok, Lengpui, Aijal, Raipur, Umaria, Purulia, Bagati, Haldia, Baripada, Hirakud, Koraput & Hutbay-3 each and Digha, Gaya, Sambalpur, Jalpaiguri, Honawar and North Lakhimpur-2 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at many places over Uttarakhand; at a few places over Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Gujarat region; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2-3°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, East madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
