♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Bihar; at many places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Uttrakhand, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal & Sikkim, Jharkhand, West Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Contai-­5; Dehradun, Coochbehar, Long Island, Salem, Pudduchery & Mahabaleshwar­-3 each; Half Long & Machilipatnam-­2 each and Ambala, Patna, Churk, Daltongunj, Tadong, Koraput, Mana, Jabalpur, Palakkad, Tirupattur, Dharamapuri & Portblair­-1 each. 

♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at many places over Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Vidarbha, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka; at a few places over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan & Goa; at isolated places over East Rajasthan and Kerala. They are below normal by 2-­5°C at many places over Punjab, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Marathwada; at isolated places over Bihar and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country. 

♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, east India, northeastern state, Peninsular India, south Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
