♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Konkan & Goa, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Bihar, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Coastal Karnataka; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Bapatla, Puri & Canning-4 each; Amritsar, Portblair, Long Islands, Cherrapunji, Tirupathi & Mahabaleshwar-3 each; Patna, Punalur & Jagdalpur-2.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at most places over Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, & Marathwada; at many places over Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Vidarbha, South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at few places over Himachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Saurashtra & Kutch and North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Kerala. They are below normal by 2-3°C at most places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Rajasthan and Bihar; at isolated places over Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states and peninsular India, southeast Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
