♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura; at many places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Konkan & Goa. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Delhi (Ayanagar)-11; Baghdogra-8; Delhi (Palam)-7; Delhi (Safdarjung) & Mahabaleshwar-6 each; Kolkata & Lengpui-5 each; Dehradun and Gopalpur-4 each; and Jammu, Itanagar, Tezpur, Bagati, Kalingapatnam & Long Island-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Konkan & Goa, North Interior Karnataka, Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over West Bengal & Sikkim, East Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-4°C at a few places over Himachal Pradesh; at isolated places Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and Assam & Meghalaya and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, south Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
