♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Kerala; at many places over East Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Konkan & Goa; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat region, Karnataka and Lakshadweep; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Saurashtra & Kutch, interior Maharashtra, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Cherrapunji-31; Coochbehar-11; Jalpaiguri, Passighat & Gopalpur-10 each; Varanasi (AP)-9; Gadag-8; Guna-7; Malda & Punalur-6; Bamrauli, Varanasi & Pendra-5 each; Kota, Mount Abu, Jamshedpur, Bhopal, Datia, Hanamkonda, Ambikapur & Rangia-4 each and Dehradun, Bundi, Sultanpur, Baharaich, Parbhani, Raisen & Arogyavaram-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Marathwada, Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Jammu Kashmir and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds at some parts of Punjab, East Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana, south Arabian sea, Comorin area and north Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
