♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, west coast and Lakashdweep; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, West Madhya Pradesh and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Gujarat, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telengana and Rayalaseema. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Cherrapunji-16; Passighat-11; Gorakhpur & Jagdalpur-8 each; Kakinada & Damoh-7 each; Meerut, Diamond Harbour, Ranchi, Daltonganj, Bilaspur & Angul-6 each; Kota, Malda, Sidhi & Pendra-5 each; Tuni, Atiramapattinam, Delhi(Palam), Bhaunagar, Haldia & Raipur-4 each and Jabalpur, Gwalior, Hoshangabad, Bangaluru, Bhagalpur, Cooch Behar & Mana-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka and Kerala and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Assam & Meghalaya, Gujarat, Odisha and Rayalaseema. They are below normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Tamilnadu and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Konkan & Goa and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds at some parts of East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya and Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
