♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Arunachal Pradesh and Coastal Karnataka; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Konkan & Goa and Kerala; at a few places over East Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep; at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Saurashtra & Kutch, Jharkhand and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Gondia & Satna-5 each; Bhira, Pachmarhi & Cherrapunji-4 each; Rewa & Pantnagar-3 each; Jalgaon, Deesa, Ratnagiri, Honavar, Dhanu, Shajapur, Sagar, Dharamsala & Passighat-2 each; Mahabaleshwar, Amreli, Karwar, Mangalore, Kota, Shimla (AP), Delhi (PLM), Jhansi, Udaipur, Keonjhargarh, Chandbali, Silchar & Banasthali-1 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at most places over Bihar, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu and Kerala; at many places over East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka and at a few places over Madhya Maharashtra & Coastal Karnataka. They are below normal by 2-3°C at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha & Marathawada and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat,Vidarbha,Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, South Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
