♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Odisha, Coast Karnataka and Kerala; at many places over Uttarakhand, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and West Bengal & Sikkim; at a few places over Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Jharkhand, Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya, Gujarat, North & south Interior Karnataka and Telangana. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are Bhopal-6; Udaipur, Ayanagar (Delhi) & Hoshangabad-5 each; Ajmer-4; Chandigarh (AP), Ridge (Delhi) & Bareilly-3 each; Dehradun, Jhansi, Raipur, Wardha, Daltonganj, Kota & Vishakhapatnam-2 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at most places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Odisha and Tamilnadu & Puducherry; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Coast, East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rayalaseema; at a few places over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Madhya Maharashtra. They are below normal by 2-4°C at a few places over Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh; at isolated places over Rayalaseema and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds are seen over most parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Odisha, Maharashtra, Telangana, and some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram & Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat Region, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, southeast Arabian sea, Comorin area, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea . Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
