♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka and Gangetic West Bengal; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Odisha; at a few places over Tamilnadu, South Interior Karnataka and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura Andaman & Nicobar islands; at isolated places over Punjab, East Madhya Pradesh, Marathawada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, North Interior Karnataka and Assam & Meghalaya. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Deesa-36; Uluberia-26; Idar-21; Dharmsala-18; Contai-14; Bhuj-13; Gandhinagar-11; Ahmadabad-9; Udaipur, New Kandla, Shantiniketan and Udaipur (Dabok)-8 each; Kandla (Airport)-7; Mandvi, Bagati and Digha-6 each; Haldia and Jalore-5; Naliya, Midnapur and Diamond Harbour-4 each; Rajkot, Surendernagar, Baroda, Dahanu, Mumbai (Santacruze), Alibagh, Bhira, Mahabaleshwar, Shirali, Kovilangulam and Balasore-3 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at most places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at many places over SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Konkan & Goa; at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and North Interior Karnataka. They are below normal by 2-3°C at many places over West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and Rajasthan; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and Marathawada; at isolated places East Madhya Pradesh and South Interior Karnataka and rest Gujarat state and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over most parts of Gangetic West Bengal; many parts of Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Odisha; some parts of Gujarat region, West Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Andra Pradesh, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
