Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura; at many places over West Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at a few places over Haryana, Chandigarh, & Delhi, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, Marathwada, Interior Karnataka and Arunachal Pradesh; at isolated places over Punjab, West Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) has been recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Indore & Shajapur­-11 each; Dharmsala­-7; Hoshangabad, Mumbai (SCZ), Digha & Carnicobar-­6 each; Shivpuri, Guna, Umaria, Betul, Seoni, Mahabaleshwar & Nancowary­-5 each; Srinagar, Jammu, Balasore, Aijal, Cannur & Bajpe­-4 each; Chandigarh, Datia, Jhansi, Raisen, Ratlam, Nasik, Dahanu, Darjeeling, Haflong, Silchar, Nedumbassery, Bangaluru & Portblair-­3 each and Baderwah, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Narsingpur, Wardha, Akola, Yeotmal, Mumbai (CLB), Tadong, Bhubaneshwar, Pasighat, Itanagar, Goalpara, Kohima, Imphal, Kailashahar, Kochi & Valprai-­2 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­-3°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and Gujarat region and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh and West Rajasthan. They are below normal by 2­-3°C at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, north Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, northeastern state, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, east & southeast Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
