Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala; at many places over Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Madhya Maharashtra, interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema; at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, East Rajasthan Marathawada and Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of are: Agumbe-­7; Daltonganj-­6; Balasore, Nedumbasserry & Panagarh­-5 each; Shantinikatan & Kochi-­4 each; Delhi (PLM), Banda, Bilaspur, Valprai, Kozhikode, Punalur & Alapuzha­-3 each; Jaipur, Canning, Kolkata, Baripada, Midnapore, Jabalpur, Panjim, Damoh, Cannur, Palakkad & Kottayam-­2 each. 

♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at most places over Vidarbha, Marathawada, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Konkan & Goa and Coastal Karnataka; at many places over Rajasthan, Gujarat state, West Madhya Pradesh, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha and Rayalaseema; at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh & Tamilnadu; at isolated places over interior Karnataka. They are below normal by 2­-5°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab & Jharkhand; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, north Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura; at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal & Kerala and near normal over rest of the country.
