Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep; at many places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Rayalaseema; at a few places over Uttarakhand, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka and Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Itanagar­-23; Passighat-­14; Cherrapunji-­12; Jalpaiguri & North Lakhimpur-­9 each; Maya Bandar-­8; Nandigama-­7; Tadong & Tezpur-­6 each; Gangtok, Kalimpong, Dhubri, Titlagarh, Kailashahar & Long Islands-­5 each; Kolkata (Dum Dum), Guwahati, Gulbarga, Nellore & Vijayawada-­4 each and Churu, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Deomali, Bagdogra, Sagar, Bhubaneswar, Mangaluru, Cannur, Karipur, Thrissur & Alapuzha­-3 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat region, Vidarbha, Jharkhand and Konkan & Goa; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal & Sikkim and Odisha; at a few places over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Madhya Pradesh, northeastern state and Marathwada; at isolated places over West Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Saurashtra & Kutch and Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over most parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states and some parts of western Himalayan region, East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Bay of Bengal, southeast Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
