Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, West Coast and Lakshadweep; at many places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Bihar, Odisha and South Interior Karnataka; at a few places over Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and northeastern states; at isolated places over Gujarat region, North Interior Karnataka and Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (4 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mangaluru-­21; Dharmsala-­19; Kolkata (Dumdum)­-16; Honavar­-15; Kolkata (Alipur)­14; Agumbe-13; Kokarnag, Shirali & Ranchi-­11 each; Cannur­-9; Jammu, Pachmarhi, Ambikapur & Digha-­8 each ; Bankura & Karwar­-7 each; Jabalpur-­6; Jorhat, Kupwara, Bhuntar, Mana, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda & Gangtok-­5 each and Batote, Sundernagar, Tikamgarh, Damoh, Hoshangabad, Raipur, Rajnadgaon, Hirakud, Balasore, Panjim, Mormugao and Valprai­-4 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­-4°C at most places over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; at many places over Vidarbha and Coastal Tamilnadu; at a few places over Gujarat, Konkan & Goa and South Odisha. They are below normal by 2-­4°C at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and north Rajasthan and at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal, & Sikkim, northeastern state, north Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, southeast Arabian Sea, north & adjoining central Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
