Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers has occurred at most places over Northeast states and Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places over Gangetic Bengal & Sikkim, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Odisha, Coastal Karnataka, North interior Karnataka,Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar islands, Lakshadweep and Tamilnadu. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 IST of today are Cherrapunji-­9; Tadong & Gangtok­-5; Dhubri-­4; Purnia, Kailashar & Minicoy­-3 each; Kailashahar, Agartala, Jalpaiguri, North Lakhimpur, Vellore, Goalpada & Rangia-­2 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at many places over West Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, North Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Andra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamilnadu and Kerala; at a few places over Uttrakhand, Gangetic west Bengal, North interior and Coastal Karnataka; at isolated places over Vidarbha, South Interior Karnataka, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Gujarat state. They are below normal by 2-­4°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh; at a few places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Northwest and Rajasthan and isolated places over Punjab Assam & Meghalaya and near normal over rest of the country. The highest Maximum Temperature of 47.6°C was recorded at Titlagarh (Odisha). 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Assam & Meghalaya, southeast Arabian sea, south & central Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Marathawada and Vidarbha.
