Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Sub-­Himalaya West Bengal & Sikkim; at many places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of are: Long Islands­-13; Mayabander-­10; Kalimpong & Dhubri-­5 each; Gangtok, Jalpaiguri & Hut Bay-­3 each; Tadong­-2 and Darjeeling, Kailashahar & Kolkata-­1 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at many places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha; at a few places Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, northeastern states, Gujarat state, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Interior Karnataka & Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Konkan & Goa, Kerala and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2­-3°C at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh & East Madhya Pradesh. and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of northeastern states, Rajasthan, southeast Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest Rajasthan, West Bengal & Sikkim, Madhya Maharashtra, rest northeastern states, Odisha, Gujarat state and peninsular India.
