Rainfall: Rain/thundershower occurred at many places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal & Sikkim and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mysore-­4; Jagdalpur, Goalpara & Shillong-­3 each; Purulia, Golaghat, Lumding, Lengpui, Rangia & Guwahati-­2 each and Angul, Pahalgaon, Meerut, Delhi (Ayanagar), Gangtok, Baghdogra, Baripada, Digha, Deomali, Pet Jorhat, Cherrapunji & Kailashahar-­1 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­-3°C at many places over Saurashtra & Kutch and Kerala; at a few places over Bihar and Telangana; at isolated places over Rajasthan, Gujarat region, West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Konkan & Goa and Tamilnadu. They are below normal by 2-­5°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and East Madhya Pradesh; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Madhya Maharashtra; at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and near normal over rest of the country. 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Odisha, South Interior Karnataka, southeast Arabian Sea, Central & south Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest Parts of the country outside Punjab and West Rajasthan.
