♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershower has occurred at most places over West Bengal & Sikkim; at many places over Bihar and Odisha; at a few places over East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Assam & Meghalaya; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu & Pudducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Baghdogra-­9; Gopalpur, Bagati,Cherrapunji and Tadong-­5 each; Chandbali, Puri, Jalpaiguri, Dhubri and Goalpara-­4 each; Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Paradip, Uluberia, Diamond Harbour, Digha, Midnapore, Kolkata, Alipore, Haldia, Balurghat­-3 each; Sultanpur, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Hirakud, Balasore, Canning, Krishnanagar and Shillong-­2 each; Jharsuguda, Keongjhargarh, Baripada, Burdwan, Kolkata (dumdum), Sambalpur, Phulbani, Waltair, Kottayam, Palakkad, Bhagalpur, Guwahati and Mayabandar-­1 each. 

♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-­4°C at a few places over East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state, Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Sub-­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-­5°C at most places over East Uttar Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal; at many places over Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh; at isolated places over Punjab, East Madhya Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya and near normal over rest of the country. Yesterday's Highest maximum temperature of 45.1°C was recorded at Chandrapur (Maharashtra). 

Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Assam & Meghalaya, south Arabian sea, Comorin area, south Bay of Bengal and South Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Marathawada and Vidarbha.
